Booking Policy
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Rivix Detailing Inc. (“Rivix Detailing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Booking Policy outline the conditions that apply when requesting, scheduling, or receiving our mobile detailing services.
By submitting a booking request or proceeding with a service, you agree to the applicable terms outlined below. Please review this policy carefully before requesting an appointment.
2. Booking Requests and Appointment Confirmation
Submitting a booking request through our website, email, phone, or other communication channel does not automatically confirm an appointment.
- All booking requests are subject to review and approval by Rivix Detailing.
- We will contact you to discuss availability, service requirements, location, and pricing where necessary.
- Your appointment is considered confirmed only after Rivix Detailing has approved the request and communicated confirmation to you.
- Requested appointment dates and times are not guaranteed until confirmation has been provided.
3. Deposits and Payment
A deposit may be required to secure an appointment. The deposit amount and payment instructions will be communicated to you before your booking is finalized.
- Any required deposit must be paid according to the instructions provided by Rivix Detailing.
- The deposit will be applied toward the final invoice for the agreed service.
- Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or refund conditions will be communicated in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
- The remaining balance is due after the service has been completed, unless another payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We request at least 72 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment.
- Please contact Rivix Detailing as early as possible if you need to change your appointment.
- Requests made with less than 72 hours' notice may be subject to applicable cancellation or rescheduling conditions communicated at the time of booking, subject to applicable law.
- We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests, but alternative dates and times are subject to availability.
- If Rivix Detailing needs to reschedule an appointment, we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative.
Any deposit refund or retention will be handled according to the terms communicated before booking and applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Pricing and Vehicle Condition
Service pricing may vary depending on the size, type, condition, and specific requirements of your vehicle, as well as the service requested and the location where the work will be performed.
- Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer before the appointment.
- Vehicle size, interior condition, exterior condition, contamination, staining, pet hair, and other detailing requirements may affect the final price.
- Final pricing will be confirmed with the customer before work begins.
- If an in-person inspection reveals that the vehicle requires a higher-level service than originally requested, we will explain the recommended changes and revised pricing.
- Any deposit already paid will remain applied toward the revised service, subject to the customer's agreement to proceed.
6. Additional Work and Customer Approval
Rivix Detailing will not proceed with additional chargeable work outside the agreed service without first obtaining the customer's approval.
- We will explain any additional work that may be necessary and its associated cost.
- The customer must approve the revised scope of work and pricing before the additional work begins.
- If the customer declines the proposed additional service, we will discuss the available options based on the original booking and the vehicle's condition.
7. Service Location and Permissions
Rivix Detailing provides mobile detailing services at eligible customer-approved locations. Customers are responsible for ensuring that mobile detailing is permitted at the requested service address.
- Customers must obtain any required permission from property owners, property managers, condominium corporations, strata councils, or other relevant authorities before the appointment.
- Permission may be required for underground parking garages, condominium parking areas, residential complexes, commercial properties, or other restricted locations.
- The service location must provide suitable access and conditions for the agreed detailing work.
- Customers are responsible for any location-specific restrictions, permits, or permissions that apply to their property or parking area.
- If detailing cannot be performed because the location does not permit the service or suitable access is unavailable, the appointment may need to be relocated or rescheduled.
8. Weather and Unforeseen Conditions
Because our services are mobile, weather and site conditions may affect our ability to complete certain detailing services safely and to the expected standard.
- Rain, snow, extreme temperatures, high winds, or other unsuitable conditions may require a change to the appointment.
- Some services may require a covered, enclosed, or otherwise suitable working environment.
- Rivix Detailing may recommend rescheduling when weather or site conditions could affect service quality, safety, or the proper application of products.
- If rescheduling is necessary, we will contact the customer to arrange an alternative appointment, subject to availability.
9. Vehicle Access and Preparation
Customers must ensure that the vehicle and service area are accessible at the scheduled appointment time.
- The vehicle must be available at the agreed location and time.
- Customers should remove valuables, personal belongings, and any items they do not want handled during the service.
- Customers should disclose relevant vehicle condition concerns or special requirements before work begins.
- Reasonable access to the vehicle, parking area, and any required utilities must be available where necessary for the agreed service.
- Delays caused by unavailable vehicles, restricted access, or unsuitable site conditions may affect the appointment schedule.
10. Cargo, Commercial, and Oversized Vehicles
Cargo vehicles, commercial vehicles, large trucks, oversized vehicles, and other vehicles requiring specialized equipment or additional time are subject to review before a booking is accepted.
Please provide accurate vehicle details when requesting a quote so that we can assess the service requirements, availability, and applicable pricing.
Rivix Detailing reserves the right to decline a request when the vehicle or service requirements fall outside our available capabilities.
11. Service Completion and Remaining Balance
Once the agreed service has been completed, the customer is responsible for paying the remaining balance according to the confirmed quote and invoice.
- The deposit paid toward the booking will be deducted from the final invoice.
- Any customer-approved additional work will be reflected in the final invoice.
- Payment of the outstanding balance is due after service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Customers should raise any immediate service-related concerns with Rivix Detailing so they can be reviewed promptly.
12. Customer Responsibilities
To help ensure a smooth service experience, customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact details, vehicle information, and service location details.
- Reviewing and approving the service scope and final pricing before work begins.
- Obtaining all required permissions for the service location.
- Ensuring that the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled appointment time.
- Removing valuables and personal belongings before the service.
- Paying the applicable deposit and remaining balance according to the agreed terms.
13. Service Availability and Changes
All services are subject to availability, vehicle suitability, location requirements, and the equipment and resources necessary to complete the work.
Rivix Detailing may recommend an alternative service or appointment where the original request cannot reasonably be completed under the conditions presented. Any material change to the agreed service or price will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
14. Limitation of Responsibility
Rivix Detailing will exercise reasonable care when providing its services. Customers should disclose known vehicle damage, sensitive surfaces, existing defects, aftermarket modifications, or other conditions that may affect the work.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected during inquiries, bookings, payments, and service delivery is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
For further information about how we collect, use, and protect personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
Rivix Detailing may update these Terms & Booking Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, booking procedures, or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the applicable effective date. Any terms specifically agreed upon with a customer for an existing booking will be handled in accordance with that agreement and applicable law.
